Getting Started
Setting up OneLimit takes about five minutes.
- Download the OneLimit Parent app on your iPhone and sign in with Apple.
- Create a child profile - add a name, age, and set a daily screen time budget.
- Pair their iPhone by downloading the OneLimit Child app on their device and following the pairing prompt.
- Connect PlayStation 5 by entering your PSN account credentials in the parent app. OneLimit connects through PlayStation's online services - no app needed on the console.
- Connect Nintendo Switch the same way, using your Nintendo Account credentials.
- Connect Xbox by signing in with your Microsoft account. OneLimit uses Microsoft Family Safety to manage Xbox usage.
- Connect Windows PC - same Microsoft account. Family Safety enforces limits on their Windows device too.
That's it. From this point, the budget runs automatically each day.

Troubleshooting Tips
- PS5, Switch, Xbox, or Windows PC not syncing? Make sure the device is connected to the internet and that your PSN, Nintendo Account, or Microsoft account credentials are up to date in the parent app.
- Child app disconnected? Open the OneLimit Parent app and re-pair the device from the child's profile.
- Budget not resetting? Budgets reset at midnight in your family's timezone. Check that your timezone is set correctly in account settings.
